Ive seen a real nice Ferrari 355 kit for the MK2 cars that simply replaces the front and rear bumbers and side skirts. Since the cars are practically the same size the fitment and end result looks very clean. Just wanted to see if anyone has this kit and could post pics. Im considering such a kit before i repaint my car..

You aren't gonna find too many people with that kit. A lot of people hate it because it "looks" like a Ferrari and why would you want that? I guess those same people wouldn't drive a Chrysler SRT8 because it "looks" like a Rolls Royce.

I like the front and sides. Search on google images, you will find a couple more pics.

When you get the repaint post some pics.

It doesn't really look like a Ferrari at all.. just a very cheap version of some of the styling cues you find on a 355, but cheaper looking.

Now there is a kit or two overseas that make the SW20 look a lot like a real 355.. but why someone would do that is beyond me. Thats like lying to a girl about still living at home at the age of 30.

Phreakgirl's MR2 with the 355 molded in was beautiful. I kinda like the front end. Whats the difference between that and one of the weird combat front ends? To each his own. Were all car fans. Some people like 5 foot tall rear wings, some like no rear wings. Good for them all. Thats the beauty in owning and customizing your car! In the end its your car!!! And thats why you love it

Why dump $15-25,000 trying to make a MR2 look like a 355 when you can use that money for a down payment on a real 355 The 355 are selling around $50,000 on the lowend and $89,000 at the high.

Yes.. but I bet maintaining that 355 is 5-10x the amount of maintaining any MR2.

Yeah the only F335 Deuce I like is that red one out in the UK. The work is CLEAN and I'd take that any day. I'm not going to spend money on something (that large) unless I know I'm going to get it back or close to it. Spending $20k+ on an MR2 is just plain dumb unless you got money to burn. The ROI for $20k is much better on something appreciating such as a house or money market. And there's no comparison in terms of money of an MR2 vs. F355.

Looks decent, not my bag but as long as it's clean and not sloppy.

All the MR2s posted look like ass.

I'll never understand why people want to take a decent looking car and turn it into crap.
